The way predictive astrology works is based on the movement of the planet both in the here and now as well as in the future. In astrology we call the movement of the planets the planets in transit. The transiting planets are always in orbit around the Sun but the planets in a person’s natal horoscope will always stay in the same position. Every time a planet come into contact with one of a person’s natal planet or power point in the chart then it will have an affect on the person’s life to some degree. When an astrologer look at a chart it is easy for her to give you some idea of what you can expect from the future. For example if you are under the influence of transiting planet Mars then you can expect to take more action in your life and you will be excited about a new project or what ever you do. If you have transit from the planet Jupiter then you will feel more confident and open in dealing with other people. If you are planning on going travelling under this transit then it will probably be a long trip to a foreign country. This is basically the way predictive astrology works.
Well, I’ll tell you what what love is… at least, what it represents for me.
If any of you just go to a dictionary or, not to go even that far, google, and look up the word “love”, you will find thousands of results. Those results include either a definition or would be the link to a music video, encyclopedia, facebook page, clubs, etc…
The Wikipedia definition of love says that: “Love is an emotion of strong affection and personal attachment.[1] Love is also a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection; and “the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another”.[2]
And as well as the definition, love could also be described in many ways, in many situations such as, in a human being just staring at another, an animal feeding its offspring, a baby grabbing his/her mothers thumb…
Love could also come as a result of breaking someone’s ego, someone’s desire of being better than the rest (as a normal act of human nature), and then realizing that he or she would be exactly like the rest of the human beings, and has to accept and love the rest as equals, and love him/herself as good or bad as he/she is because, at the end, we are all the same, it’s just the way human nature is.
So, anyway, in order to stop with all the philosophy in this writing, I’ll just tell you this story, my story, a story that would define what is love, or at least what it is for me.
Once upon a time, there was a little Spanish speaking girl (not really a girl, basically a 30 year old woman = Me!!), who decided to travel around the world to finally live the dream of her life. She wanted to travel, to the other corner of the world, and live there for a while. She wanted to get to know guys, party, travel around the different cities and, if luck would have it, then stay there for a little longer.
Well, this little girl didn’t have to do much, or travel much, or get to know many boys, or kiss many of them or get drunk or anything like that, given that it only took a little while, something like two hours, to meet the “love of her life”.
She flew thousands of kilometres (let’s adjust to the English speaking world), “miles” away from home, to live an experience, never thinking that she would meet this cheerful, smart, handsome, elegant and charming beautiful man, that would make her realize months later what love is!!
Love is giving up your job, family, friends, car, apartment, everything, basically, your life, for someone you think that would be the love of your life, your perfect partner, your “significant other”, your “half orange”.
Love is staying away from home in Christmas and still feeling happy because, even though you’re not with your closest people, you’re waking up every morning and smiling just to feel that he’s there, by your side…
Are you having a hard time writing a narrative essay? This is either your first time to write one or you aren’t really into writing. Well, first of all you should not be discouraged in writing this kind of essay. Unlike any other types, it gives the writer the opportunity to write their own stories. At one point in our lives, we wish to express one of the memorable experiences and share it with other people, and this is what narrative essays offer us. A narrative essay is generally based on one’s experiences, it is written in the form of a story. You may think that this can be quite easy but you may find it hard to arrange your ideas once your in the writing scenario. Since narrative is more on storytelling, the best way to arrange your ideas is by creating the following: character, plot, setting, climax and the ending. If you want to read a great sample of a story that has a strong plot and climax, try reading a thousand splendid suns . The story is about abused women and children that is written in one’s perspective.
