In Glasgow it is very easy to select my favorite Italian restaurant – La Lanterna – but travelling outside the city it’s not so easy. I recently went to Falkirk and this is what I discovered.

Falkirk town is situated between Glasgow and Edinburgh cities in Central Scotland. Some of its famous landmarks include the Calendar house and the Antonine Wall. It has several Italian restaurants offering hospitality services. There is the executive Antonio’s restaurant with high back leather seats, and Italian marble art décor. It serves traditional Italian fare, and has a well stocked bar serving a wide range of wines, champagnes and beer.

You can also try the Fratelli restaurant situated near Newlands Road. It is tastefully furnished and has an airy ambience. Diners can relax on cream colored leather seat in its open bar and dining quarters. It offers its patrons lunches, a la carte menus, and even children menu.
