One effective way for treating traction alopecia is through the use of Rogaine. Rogaine contains minoxidil. Minoxidil has been proven to be effective in traction alopecia treatment.
When someone talks about alopecia, he/she is referring to hair loss. Traction alopecia can be experienced by men, women and children. It can be caused by different kinds of situations. One of the most common causes of traction alopecia is putting strain on the scalp. If the strain is removed, there is a huge chance for the traction alopecia to go away.
There are three kinds of traction alopecia. They are known as the alopecia areata, alopecia universalis and the alopecia totalis.
If you are also suffering from scalp infection, you should contact your doctor immediately. Treating the scalp infection requires different treatments. Using the Rogaine may stop the hair loss but due to scalp infection, traction alopecia might come back. Both have to be treated together for effective results.
